Spett.bile library management, I am writing this letter as a result of continued violations of privacy by your library, in all the ways that control the screen of my laptop.
I do not want in this context discuss the reasons for their behavior (if I visit porn sites will want to check I suppose, given that over to the screen watching something else) but remember that although there is no 'one term on the PC screen and a user 'property to be considered' private and then no one can 'access to information on the screen other than the rightful owner. A little 'as if it were a wallet, a purse, a backpack: even if someone suggests that there is a crime (for example, the counterfeit notes in the book) can not 'ask the owner to show the content (even if the supervision of a supermarket, a library, etc.) but must go to the police and that' the only one allowed to see what's in the portfolio.
then will formally ask the appropriate technical measures so that 'I can only see the screen of my PC when I use it in your library (or at most a cop, but not a librarian), with request for written answers to any appeal to ordinary justice in case of refusal
FRANCESCO BARNABA
Milan, 5 October 2010. In the picture above the provision of PCs to a library, arranged so that anyone approaching a bit 'to view the content of the screen. These include anyone librarians, who in this way can ensure that users do not go against the rules (for the case of porn sites, while all other offenses are admitted (trusting a filter to download, sites are not allowed, etc.). For example, a social network like Facebook is not 'permitted by the regulation, but the librarians in this case turn a blind eye. I therefore asked the Director of this library to turn the monitor to the wall (originally required only for my laptop, then extended to the other) in order to respect the privacy (motivation letter above) and this' was the result: (next post)
